The VkusVill chain has reached an agreement to use images and excerpts from the works of Korney Chukovsky – the retailer has entered into a licensing deal with Dmitry Chukovsky, the writer's great-grandson and the owner of the exclusive rights to his works.
Under the agreement, the company will be able to use the images of the heroes of Chukovsky's poems and fairy tales in product design and communication campaigns. It is known that VkusVill plans to use intellectual property in a line of children's products – cosmetics, dairy products, sweets.

In addition to the images of the characters, the agreement also allows VkusVill to use excerpts from Chukovsky's works. This concerns "the use of slogans or catchphrases that can be registered as trademarks."
It is known that the participants in the deal (in addition to the retailer) were the literary agency FTM (representing the interests of the heir) and the company Polza Pro. VkusVill did not disclose the terms of the licensing deal.
