The number of registered unemployed is rising in Estonia for the twelfth week in a row. The highest unemployment rate is in Ida-Virumaa – 13%, writes
As of January 19 , 50 842 people were on the unemployment insurance rolls – almost 300 more than the weeks earlier.
The lowest unemployment level remains on Hiiumaa – 4%.
At the same time, the increase in the unemployment rate from November to March is a seasonal phenomenon that occurs annually.
