The accident happened at noon today. A Mercedes truck with a semi-trailer crashed into an inhabited house standing on a provincial road. Several fire brigades intervened on site.
The truck driver suffered injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to hospital by ambulance. There were 6 people in the house and on the property at the time of the collision. None of them was injured, but the tenants had to be evacuated from the destroyed building – says the State Fire Service in Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
"A building supervision inspector was called to the site to determine the damage and make a decision on the damage to the building's structure. A decision was made to prohibit the use of the house until it was rebuilt." – we read in the firefighters' report. The police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident.
