The Agricultural and Food Quality Inspectorate in Rzeszów issued a decision banning the placing on the market in Poland of a batch of canned corn imported from Egypt. The load of 13,801.6 kg was questioned when it was found that the cans were underestimated. The decision was made immediately enforceable
IJHARS in Lublin issued two similar decisions regarding 2 batches of buckwheat with a total weight of 39,960 kg, imported from Ukraine. The introduction of grain to the market was prohibited due to the presence of pests and a foreign smell. Both prohibitions were made immediately enforceable.
The same Lublin inspectorate also banned the sale in Poland of a batch of 1,170 liters of soft drink imported from Ukraine. The goods were incorrectly labeled regarding their composition.
