The Star
Ferry Company Tallink, which operated under the name James Joyce Joyce between Irish Irish Continental Group, is being returned to the Baltic.
From 9 February 2025 year Star will serve the Paldiski – Kapelscher route. This
will provide almost every day flights between Estonia and Sweden, and on some days – and twice a day.
Since the Cruise Cruise liner Baltic Queen is going from Tallinn to Stockholm in a day, the exit on the new line of the Ferry Star gives those wishing the opportunity to get to Sweden and return practically every day.
According to Tallink Tallink Chairman Paavo Nygene, Star will increase opportunities for auto travelers and truckers, and also become a convenient option for those who don’t need to go the capitals of Estonia and Sweden.
Star will receive only passengers in vehicles, and the board will offer updated comfort: children’s play area, restaurants with breakfasts and dinners, and also a store.
Before beginning operations on the new route Star will undergo modernization at a dockyard in Finland and will replace the Regal Regal Star and Sailor ferries, which have beendecommissioned for the time being.
