- Fabryka Park was established in Piotrowice, Katowice, with the aim of providing commercial and service infrastructure to the residents of the southern districts of the city, but also to Mikołów and nearby towns.
- The name refers to the former FAMUR plants that operated in this place. For half a year of operation, it has become known as a place that focuses on carefully selected tenants.
Woolworth chose Fabryka Park
It is in Fabryka Park that the German chain of discount stores and department stores, Woolworth, decided to locate its store, which began its expansion into the Polish market last year. A big step towards ensuring full commercialization of the retail park is the signing of further agreements with tenants, including LPP – one of the largest Polish clothing companies, owner of, among others, Sinsay brand. Her showroom will open at the turn of August and September in Fabryka Park. Customers will find clothing and home furnishing items there.
In June, the retail park will welcome a branch of a popular bank with available self-service banking, as well as an RR Moto store, which is to be the largest showroom with clothing and accessories for motorcyclists in Silesia.
– We would like Fabryka Park to be the place of first choice due to the richness of the offer, but also positive experiences, not only shopping. This is the idea of retail parks, which provide experiences and interesting ways to spend time in a friendly space. We have the ambition to follow this trend to an even greater extent than before, says Jarosław Łysik, real estate manager at TDJ Estate.
Fabryka Park is already half a year old
Covering an area of 9 thousand. sq m Fabryka Park opened its doors to customers in December 2023. Currently, the following stores are available: Action, Bacówka, Dealz, Jysk, Kłos, Maxi Zoo, Media Expert, Ziko Optyk. Pepco, Rossmann, TEDi, Woolworth. The whole is complemented by a Kaufland hypermarket, which is located on a plot directly adjacent to Fabryka Park.
– Fabryka Park is consolidating its position on the market, attracting customers with the diversity and complementarity of the offer. We invited both well-known and popular stores, but there were also some surprises – brands that had not been available in Katowice before. 99 percent commercialization means almost full use of the potential of the retail park, hence the six months that have passed behind us, we sum up with great satisfaction – says Piotr Kret, president of the management board of REALM, the company responsible for the commercialization of the facility.
Ultimately, the shopping and service center will cover an area of 6 ha. Design and construction works are currently underway to develop the remaining part of the area, which will expand the park's retail offer.
