IJHARS in Bydgoszcz issued two decisions prohibiting the introduction into circulation of two batches of dried plums with pits that were imported from the United States.
Both shipments together contained dried fruit weighing 39,916 kg. IJHARS inspectors questioned the quality of the fruit "due to the presence of live and dead pests". The decision was made immediately enforceable.
