As we read in the latest announcement, inspectors of the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection in Lublin issued a decision to prohibit the introduction of a batch of cookies imported from Ukraine into circulation in Poland. It turned out that the cookies in the 684 kg load had an underestimated sugar content compared to that declared on the label. The decision was made immediately enforceable.
A few days earlier, Lublin inspectors also stopped the import of 864 kg of cookies from Ukraine to Poland. The marketing ban was issued due to the presence of a synthetic dye, cochineal red, which was not indicated on the product label.
Due to the incorrect expiration date and lack of information on the product's storage conditions, IJHARS inspectors from Bydgoszcz banned the sale of over 25,000 products in Poland. juice and nectars packaging from Ukraine.
