The head of the company added that seasonality is one of the determining factors for mineral water producers.
“We must understand that such an abnormal heat, which has persisted in many regions of the country for several weeks, has a strong impact on demand and it is not always possible to predict and prevent product shortages in advance. This year's hot summer became a growth driver for the category and a test of strength for all manufacturers. In June, the Aqua Holding group of companies sold more than 23.5 million liters. In July, high demand remains ,” said Wilk.
At the same time, he clarified that the pricing of mineral water is regulated by more fundamental factors than short-term changes in climatic conditions or demand. In addition, the enterprise cannot sharply increase production, since it is limited by flow rate (the volume of liquid stably supplied from a source per unit of time).
