The priest blessed Filip Chajzer's kebab. A long queue in front of the booth until 9 p.m.

Ksiądz poświęcił kebab Filipa Chajzera. Długa kolejka przed budką do godziny 21

The opening of the kebab stand by Filip Chajzer was an exceptional event for several reasons. First, the new location in Ursynów was particularly close to the heart of the journalist, who grew up in this district. Second, Chajzer wanted his new business to be blessed. He entrusted this task to Father Karol Oparcik from the parish of the Ascension of the Lord. After a short prayer, the priest blessed the stand, emphasizing in his sermon that such places can connect people and cultures.

Symbolic meaning for Chajzer

For Filip Chajzer, the opening of this place had a special, personal meaning. As he himself admitted, Kreuzberg Kraft Kebap is not just an ordinary business. The name of the booth refers to the Berlin district of Kreuzberg, known for its cultural diversity and culinary traditions, but it also contains religious symbolism. Kreuz is a cross in German, and berg means mountain. For Chajzer, who opened his first location at a difficult time in his life, this booth became a symbol of his personal "climbing the mountain."

Ursynów queue for kebab

A queue of people eager to try Filip Chajzer's kebabs formed long before the official opening, and the first customers waited over an hour to order their food.

The queue in front of the booth did not decrease throughout the afternoon, and people waited for their kebabs until 9 p.m.

How much does a kebab cost at Chajzer’s?

The price of a kebab at Filip Chajzer's "Kreuzberg Kraft Kebap" is slightly higher than in standard kebab shops. A small Gemüse Kebap (with beef or chicken) costs 39 PLN, and a large one 44 PLN. The vegetarian version is slightly cheaper – 36 PLN for a small portion.

Prices include a rich selection of ingredients: grilled and fresh vegetables, Turkish cheese, herbs and a selection of sauces (including mango, curry, garlic, hot). Additionally, customers can ask for hot peppers.

It is worth noting that in addition to traditional kebabs in a bun, the menu also offers Lawasz Kebap and Kebap Box in various meat and vegetarian variants, also at the price of PLN 39.

Plans for the future

Although the Ursynów stand has only just opened, Filip Chajzer is already thinking about the future. As he announced, Kreuzberg Kraft Kebap will stay in Ursynów permanently, and he himself is considering renting a stationary, year-round location in this district, so that he can serve kebabs all year round.
