According to the Central Statistical Office data, the average milk purchase price in Poland in June 2024 was PLN 195.04/hl. The prices offered to milk producers by purchasing entities for the raw material last month decreased by 0.9%. compared to those paid by dairies in May 2024. Price from June this year. however, it is higher than the one offered by dairies to producers in the same period of 2023 by 0.8%.
The highest milk price in September this year. recorded in voivodeships:
- Podlaskie – PLN 205.04/hl
- Opole Province – PLN 198.54/hl
- Lubelskie – PLN 198.14/hl
The lowest rates were paid in the following voivodeships:
- Pomeranian – PLN 184.08/hl
- Łódź Province – PLN 185.41/hl
- Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship – PLN 185.51/hl

One voivodeship with a price above PLN 2/l
The first position in the milk price ranking was retained by the Podlaskie Voivodeship with a rate of PLN 205.04/hl. It is currently the only voivodeship that managed to exceed the PLN 2 barrier. The position with the lowest price was again taken by the Pomeranian Voivodeship with a rate of PLN 184.08/hl.
In June this year the difference between the highest and lowest purchasing milk prices was similar to the previous month and amounted to approximately 21 groszy/l.
This time, domestic milk purchase prices were inconsistent with changes in global prices of dairy products. During the last session on the Global Dairy Trade exchange, a rebound was recorded after a previous drastic decline.
