The MHP holding registered in Cyprus, owned by the Ukrainian oligarch Yuri Kosyuk, had another excellent financial year – reports the Dutch portal Boerderij.nl. Thanks to the acquisition of companies in the Balkans, the poultry giant strengthens its position on the European market.
In the last financial year, MHP recorded a 14% increase in turnover, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine. MHP exported almost 397 thousand tons of poultry meat, an increase of 8% compared to the previous year.

Poultry production in Ukraine was approximately 718,600 tons. However, last year MHP took over 7 more companies engaged in poultry production and meat processing in Albania and Kosovo. The Albanian subsidiary ARB Bio Farm, which has both its own poultry houses and slaughterhouses, increased production this year by 6% – to over 131,000 tons.
