IN MARCH, on August 1, a meeting was held with the participation of the head of the department, Alexey Bogdanov, the founder of the Romax group of companies, Victor Romuk, and other representatives of the network. At the meeting, plans to preserve the “Island of Purity and Taste” network were discussed.
In addition to the founder of the Romax group of companies, Russian businessman Alexander Pupal was present at the meeting. Representatives of the retailer informed Alexey Bogdanov about plans to preserve the “Island of Purity and Taste” brand, as well as the ongoing work to develop an updated retail network with the specified name, which will be managed by the new owner of the brand.

In turn, the head of MART warned those present about the need to comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus during these transformations.
Currently, five organizations that are part of the Romax group of companies are in the process of liquidation: “Production Company Romax”, “ZapadKhimServis”, “ZapadKhimInvest”, “Trading Company Romax” and “ZapadKhimTorg”.
The head of the department focused on the need to take into account the interests of all interested parties, incl. creditors of the above-mentioned organizations.
This spring, Victor Romuk reported that thanks to the assistance of banks, the company had found a business partner from the Russian Federation.
The investor partner has extensive experience in the production of household chemicals, distribution, and retail. The Russian investor is also interested in the transport company Islands of Purity and Taste and production facilities for bottling household chemicals. It is planned to launch two additional lines, which will increase production volume by 10 times. The products will also be sold on the Russian market.
