Two years ago, the citizens of the region learned a surprising news – one of the world's leaders in bicycle production, the Dutch company "Pon. Bike". This is the biggest investor in Kėdainiai so far. As promised, the factory opens very soon – on September 10.
About 500 people will be employed
Although it is not known exactly how much the Dutch company invested in the opening of its new factory in our city, it is known that it is the largest investor so far. So we are talking about several tens of millions of euros.
The company plans to hire about 300 people in the first phase, and the number of employees may grow to 500 later.
The representatives of the company visited Kėdainiai more than once, communicated not only with the heads of the municipality, but also participated in city celebrations and communicated with the residents of Kėdainiai. According to them, the company is coming to Kėdainiai not only as a job creator, but also plans to maintain a close relationship with the entire community of our region and eventually become an integral part of the city of Kėdainiai.
