Registered unemployment in Estonia is growing for the sixth week in a row, writes Rus.ERR.
As of August 4, 49,945 people were registered with the Unemployment Insurance Fund – 267 more than the week before.
By county, the highest unemployment rate is still in Ida-Viru County, where it increased from 12.9% to 13.1%.
The lowest unemployment rate remains in Hiiumaa – 3.6%.
According to the Unemployment Insurance Fund, there are unlikely to be fewer than 50,000 unemployed people in Estonia by autumn.
