According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, solutions are being prepared to provide assistance in paying agricultural tax for 2024. The assistance will be paid to agricultural producers in the amount equivalent to the third and fourth instalment of the agricultural tax for 2024.
It is planned to allocate approximately PLN 160 million for the implementation of this assistance. If the submitted applications show that the demand for assistance exceeds this amount in total, a correction coefficient will be used to calculate the amount of assistance, the ministry informs.

Who can benefit from help?
Support will only be available to farmers who demonstrate losses caused by weather anomalies on their farms of at least 30%.
It should be emphasized that, taking into account the EC regulations governing public aid, the amount of the above aid will be reduced by 50% if the agricultural producer does not have insurance for at least 50% of the crop area on the farm, excluding perennial grassland – says Czesław Siekierski, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
