An advertisement has appeared on the international real estate portal Christie's about the sale of the Kalvi manor in Lääne-Viru County, which is owned by Belitex Invest OÜ, writes rus.err.ee. According to the advertisement, the manor has 28 bedrooms and 28 bathrooms. The building area is 1590 square meters. The total area of the property is 34.5 hectares. The manor belongs to the company Belitex Invest OÜ, whose owner, according to the Commercial Register, is Georgian citizen Georgiy Gurtskaya. In March 2022, Postimees wrote that Belitex Invest is a puppet company of a business network in St. Petersburg. According to the publication, the head of the network is Sergei Matvienko, the son of Russian politician Valentina Matvienko, and Georgian businessman Omar Gurtskaya. Kalvi Manor was first mentioned in 1485, but the main building was built before the First World War. During Soviet times, the Kalvi sanatorium-preventorium was located there.
