The largest taxpayer in Latvia last year, as well as the year before, was Orlen Latvija, the State Revenue Service (VID) reported, reports LETA.VID will present awards to the largest payers of labor taxes in five regions of Latvia, as well as the largest taxpayer in the country in 2023 year. In Riga and the Riga region, the largest payer of labor taxes in the group of large enterprises was the Latvian branch of Accenture, in the group of medium-sized enterprises – EIS Group Latvia, in the group of small enterprises – ALSO Cloud Latvia, in the group of micro-enterprises – Antares Venture Capital. In Kurzeme, the largest payer of labor taxes in 2023 in the group of large enterprises was UPB, in the group of medium-sized enterprises – Niedrāji MR, in the group of small enterprises – Algoritms L, and in the group of micro-enterprises – Digi-INK. In Latgale, the largest payer of labor taxes in the group of large enterprises was Light Guide Optics International, in the group of medium-sized enterprises – Leax Rēzekne, in the group of small enterprises – Drillex, in the group of micro-enterprises – Per Frandsen. The largest payer of labor taxes in Vidzeme in the group of large enterprises was Valmieras stikla šķiedra, in the group of medium-sized enterprises – Rairu, in the group of small enterprises – Wunder Latvia, in the group of micro-enterprises – Madara 89 grupa. In Zemgale, the largest payer of labor taxes in the group of large enterprises was East metal, in the group of medium-sized enterprises – Iterum, in the group of small enterprises – Scandivac, in the group of micro-enterprises – Agrofirma Liepas.
