Changes in the shareholding structure of Auchan Polska

Auchan Polska was founded on February 27, 1992. From the company's report we learn that several changes were made to the company in 2023. Here they are:

– On May 23, 2024, the Company's Founding Act was amended and its new uniform text was adopted.

– Pursuant to the share sale agreement of March 14, 2023, Valpoland SCA purchased 12,496 shares from Monicole Exploitatiemaatschappij BV with a total nominal value of PLN 624,800 in the company's share capital.

– Pursuant to the share purchase agreement of June 13, 2023, Auchan Retail International SA purchased from Monicole Exploitatiemaatschappij BV 4,906,073 shares with a total nominal value of PLN 245,303,650 in the company's share capital.

– Pursuant to the share sale agreement of September 25, 2023, Valpoland SCA purchased 21,605 shares from Auchan Retail International SA with a total nominal value of PLN 1,080,250 in the share capital.

Here is the current shareholding structure:

  • Auchan Retail International SA – 18,012,791 shares with a total nominal value of PLN 900,639,550.00 (PLN 50 each share)
  • Valpoland SCA 125,787 shares with a total nominal value of PLN 6,289,350.00 (PLN 50 each share)

Financial situation of Auchan Polska

As at December 31, 2023, the company's balance sheet totals PLN 4,516,341,000 on the liabilities and assets side. The profit and loss account shows a net profit of PLN 73,590,000.

In 2023, Auchan Polska recorded an increase in revenues by less than 3%, and the operating profit of the company amounted to PLN 215,000,000.

The management board recommended allocating the profit earned by the company in the year
fiscal year 2023 to be divided among the partners.

In 2023, the network contributed nearly PLN 905 million to the Polish budget in the form of taxes and levies.

Employment at Auchan: 634 employees less

The average employment in 2023 is 17,381 employees, including 14,176 in blue-collar positions (18,015 employees in 2022).

Auchan manages a network of 106 own stores in Poland: 70 hypermarkets and 35 supermarkets, as well as the Auchan GO autonomous store. In addition, the chain cooperates with 25 franchise stores and 74 convenience stores under the Easy Auchan brand in partnership with bp.
