It is worth adding that the Tuesday session of the ISW stock exchange dispelled any illusions. Yes, the animals were fully sold at that time, but the bid was as much as 7 eurocents lower than the price set during Friday's auction.
Unfortunately, the turmoil on the small trading floor did not translate into the price set during yesterday's session of the VEZG stock exchange. On the large trading floor for almost four months, each subsequent quotation consistently ends with the result of EUR 2.20 per kilogram of fattened pig with a meat content of 57%. This is how yesterday's auction ended.
Converted into the national currency (according to the euro exchange rate from yesterday – 1 EUR = 4.34 PLN), the rate determined during the VEZG stock exchange quotation is PLN 9.55 per kilogram.
At the beginning of the week, domestic purchasing prices were PLN 9.50 net per kilogram of pig for fattening in class E and PLN 7.30 net per kilogram of pig for fattening in live weight.
