A working meeting was held in MARCH with the participation of the head of the department, Alexey Bogdanov, and representatives of public catering entities, government bodies, and the Association of Restaurateurs.
The main goals of the meeting: development of the catering sector, taxation issues, tariff policy, rental rates and payments, as well as a number of others.
“In order not to slow down and keep our finger on the pulse, today we continue to conduct a dialogue with catering enterprises, during which, together with those interested, we discuss issues that concern them and consider constructive proposals,” the Minister noted.
According to Belstat, trade turnover in the catering sector is growing. For January-May 2024, it amounted to 2.3 billion rubles, the growth rate was 111.8% compared to the same period last year. Over the five months of this year, 200 new establishments with 7.5 thousand seats were opened.
