The government will continue the process of privatizing the unprofitable railway company Operail, writes rusERR. According to Infrastructure Minister Vladimir Svet, the freight transportation business is not a strategically important activity for the state, so it was decided to privatize the company. He added that there is interest in Operail among private investors. Currently, Operail employs about 200 people. Last year, the company's loss amounted to more than 19 million euros.
