The ex-Continental plant in Kaluga is already operating under the Gislaved brand. It is planned to produce tires in the mass and premium segments in Ulyanovsk.
“Thanks to the preserved expertise and competencies of the Ulyanovsk plant team and the effective synergy of all production sites in the cluster, the plant will be ready to restart in a short time – already in November 2024,” said Vadim Volodin.
He also said that the company is currently adapting recipes, testing and preparing for commissioning work to launch the production of premium tires.
