VkusVille has the following classification of retail outlets: “white stores” – familiar stores for customers, so-called offline outlets. “Darkstores” ( dark stores ) are stores without access for customers, working only for the assembly and delivery of online orders. Since October, along with the opening of a new store, a new concept “gray store ” has been added to the classification – a hybrid store. Greystor is a “VkusVill” store familiar to customers, combined with a separate area for collecting online orders. Thanks to this, customers do not interact with couriers in the store.
Greystore in Novomoskovsk occupied an area of 330 square meters. It combined a classic chain store, a cafe-bakery and an area for issuing and collecting online orders.
Thanks to the hybrid format of the outlet, VkusVill will be able to increase the speed and quality of both delivery and service in the store. The development of graystores will allow the company to expand its range of products online.
