The sleeve is 100% bleached cellulose. It dissolves in water in a matter of seconds and does not clog the sewer, and is also safe for the environment. Soffione brand paper with it is already on sale.
The only company in Russia that previously produced toilet paper with flushable tubes was Zewa. In 2022, a representative of Essity, which owns the Zewa and Libresse brands, explained that the bushings were produced in Europe, supplies from where were stopped. In 2023, Essity announced its final withdrawal from the Russian market. Its Russian subsidiary, which produces Zewa, Libresse, Tena and Tork paper in the Russian Federation, announced a change of name to “Evolution of Comfort” and the imminent rebranding of products.
