Darkstore is a warehouse-type store, without access for customers, working only for the assembly and delivery of online orders. The opening of the first such warehouse in the city took place in Anapa. The dark store, with an area of 350 square meters, houses the main assortment of VkusVilla, which includes both classic products available in the brand’s stores and exclusive products that can only be purchased online. The warehouse accommodates more than 3,100 product items.
The share of online sales at VkusVill exceeded 50% by the end of 2023. Over the past year, the turnover of the delivery service increased by 54%. The active development of online is primarily due to the demand for services from customers.
Products arrive at the new darkstore from a distribution center located in Rostov-on-Don. Its area is 3000 sq.m; Despite its small size, the multi-temperature warehouse is technologically equipped in a similar way to other VkusVilla logistics complexes. There are various loading and storage zones: standard for the fresh and ultra-fresh categories, a warehouse for long-term products and a deep-freeze zone.
The “Goryacha” project is already working on the dark store. Hotly are “dark kitchens” (darkkitchen), located on the VkusVilla darkstores, where they prepare dishes according to the orders of online buyers. In total, the service’s menu includes more than 160 items, recipes are developed by professional chefs, and every month the assortment is supplemented with 10–15 new dishes.
Thanks to the launch of a dark store in the city, residents receive an expanded range of products, expedited free delivery from VkusVilla and greater zonal coverage of the service. Now VkusVill will deliver free of charge to a number of Anapa districts within 1 hour.
