The European Union is preparing to reform customs rules to take control of the flow of goods from third countries, for example, from China.
The new norms could require marketplaces like Temu, Shein and Amazon to be accountable for thesafetyandcomplianceofproductswithEuropeanstandards.
In addition, the plan is to remove the current exemption from customs duty for goods with a value of less than 150 euros.
