T-pizza is a company that took over the Polish assets of the Spanish-owned global brand Telepizza three years ago. It also manages this trademark in the country and currently has 60 restaurants. The vast majority of them operate as franchises. But this is not the only organizational and financial model it offers to its partners.
T-pizza Agency
New T-pizza restaurants have recently appeared in Silesia – in Mysłowice and Sosnowiec. In both cases, they are located in the company's own premises, which operate in the agency model. This is a business model introduced and increasingly used by T-pizza. It involves the agency of the restaurant premises and its operational activity within the brand's network, in the structure of its supply and unique product know-how. In this solution, most of the investment outlays are covered by the company, thus limiting the risk of the agent related to the start of his business. It is worth noting that the new restaurant in Mysłowice is already the third premises in the T-pizza chain run by the same person.
The fight for profitability in Olsztyn
At the same time, the company is reducing its resources in Olsztyn. Two of the three restaurants it currently has will remain in the city.
– In this case, we are consolidating the number of locations in order to optimize the profitability of the premises, within carefully designed delivery zones. Two locations will successfully handle orders from the entire city. Let me remind you that T-pizza realizes almost 70 percent of orders on a chain scale in the form of direct delivery to recipients, and over 50 percent of orders are placed online. We are also effectively implementing our 25-minute project. This is the maximum time for order delivery to the customer – explains Michał Igor Piasecki, CEO of T-pizza.
T-Express Concept. Only the production and publishing zone
Optimization of T-pizza's operational activity also means new restaurant concepts. Including the so-called T-Express – premises with a small area, practically limited to the production and serving zone. Their activity is focused on direct deliveries to customers or personal collection of orders placed online. This reduces the investment costs related to the launch, arrangement and equipment of the premises and operating costs.
– We are currently looking for premises to implement this concept in Krakow, Poznań and Wrocław. They should have an area of 45 to 60 cubic meters. For the remaining T-pizza and T-Trattoria concepts, we are planning premises with an area of 60-100 m2 and 100-200 m2, respectively. We are also interested in such premises in these cities. The company's restructuring period has ended. Now we are focusing on expanding marketing activities, increasing the sales volume for the pizzeria and launching new outlets. By the end of 2027, we plan to reach 100 premises in Poland – adds Michał Igor Piasecki.
