A store of the footwear and accessories brand Ekonika has opened in the Orenburg megamall "Marmelad" in a new design concept .

The store occupies an area of 280 sq.m. The assortment includes collections of women's shoes and accessories of the Ekonika and Ekonika Premium brands.
"Until May 2016, the Ekonika chain was represented in Orenburg in various formats, including on a franchise basis," commented Nikolai Moskovkin, the brand's commercial director . "Later, a decision was made to close the stores due to low traffic to the retail facilities and, as one of the consequences, unsatisfactory revenues."
The Ekonika chain is represented by 120 stores in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as its own online retail. The company continues to scale changes within the framework of rebranding throughout the chain and open stores in a new format, with an increased sales area. To date, flagship stores have been opened in the new concept in the Moscow shopping centers Afimall, Metropolis, Atrium, as well as retail stores in the shopping centers Kuzminki Mall and Salaris, an opening is planned in Columbus, as well as in shopping centers in other cities – Krasnodar, Khabarovsk.
