The price of oil brand Brent on this week reached the highest level in the last three months. The rise in prices of raw fuels
has immediately affected the cost of fuel at Estonian gas stations.
Today the owners of gas stations have raised the cost of a liter of fuel by six cents. For example, Neste, where as early as morning a liter of gasoline 95 was 1,619 euros, by midday the price had risen to 1,679 euros. At Olerex gasoline 95 is also 1,679 euros per liter, while diesel fuel is 1,579 euros per liter.
Comparing with the end of December, prices for diesel fuel at gas stations in Estonia mainly increased by three cents per liter, and gasoline 95 priced by four cents. For the last two months diesel fuel has risen by 10.5 percent, and gasoline by 7 percent. Prices in the world market moved in the same direction as the wholesale price for diesel fuel increased byalmost9percent.Butitshouldbeconsideredthatasignificantpartofthecostoffuelatfuelfilling stationsiscomposedofdifferenttaxes.
