The Body Shop sold. The company lost significant value

The Body Shop – a new addition to the portfolio

Auréa sees The Body Shop as an interesting addition to its existing portfolio: Charles Denton, former CEO of Molton Brown, immediately took over as the company's new CEO. On LinkedIn, he hints at a new strategy, saying that he is focusing on a long-term plan and does not intend to close any more stores.

So far, The Body Shop has closed 82 stores in the UK. The Belgian and German branches went bankrupt. What this acquisition means for The Body Shop's future in continental Europe – and especially the Netherlands – is still unclear.
