In Stężyca, Ryki County, a tragic accident occurred while harvesting green beans. The combine harvester caught a power line with its basket, as a result of which two men were electrocuted.
Emergency medical teams, fire brigade, police and two air ambulance helicopters intervened on site.
Despite a long rescue operation, the two men injured in the accident could not be saved. The victims of the incident were a 56-year-old resident of Dęblin and a 62-year-old from the Ryki district.
The combine driver did not suffer any injuries, but he is in deep shock.
The police are currently conducting investigations.
