The A-100 Group of Companies opened an exhibition in the center of Minsk for its 30th anniversary and will send out 300,000 free photo cards about its beloved city. An exhibition of works about old and new Minsk opened in the pedestrian center, and about 300 thousand residents will receive lamp photos with art shots of the capital by mail. And the famous vases near Gorky Park and new neighborhoods are even dedicated to a clothing collection from the LSTR brand.
For the sake of the project, Belarusian street artist Graf Kalligraf revealed the character of the city through atmospheric photographs. Warm shots of the capital were taken both in the center and on the outskirts to show the relationship between old and new Minsk. The lens, in particular, captured Osmolovka, which the organizers call "the Green Harbor of the 40s of the last century."
The photographs are on display in the open air on Komsomolskaya Street, between buildings No. 8 and 12, next to the city clock. It will run until mid-October.
The organizers will also send about 300 thousand lamp photos to Minsk residents' mailboxes. First of all, they will be received by residents of new microdistricts. Free postcards can also be taken as a keepsake or sent to friends anywhere in the world.
In addition, for the City Day, A-100 and LSTR released a capsule collection. It is dedicated to the new neighborhoods and famous vases near Gorky Park, the "correct" colors of which, it seems, were discussed by the whole city. They became the "characters" of the collection – they are printed on T-shirts. The prints also reflect large-scale photographs of Novaya Borovaya, Zelenaya Gavan and DEPO.
"All this is one big gift to Minsk residents from the A-100 group of companies for the City Day. In the year of our 30th anniversary, we decided to show the interconnection of times – from old architecture to modern projects that shape the appearance of the city. The architecture of Minsk is unique, we want to make a worthy contribution to its history. And we do this both with such declarations of love and with construction projects: we will launch an interesting new project that will reflect our philosophy about the balance of life in the city. In the meantime, we want to express our feelings for the city together with everyone who wants to," A-100 explains the essence of the idea.
Postcards with art photos of Minsk can be taken for free in the Zerno coffee shops on Nezavisimosti 46 and Internatsionalnaya 29, in the LSTR store on Kulman 3. They are also available in the sales offices of Novaya Borovaya, Zelenaya Gavan and DEPO. The number of photos per person is not limited.
