"Getting a loan in Estonia to buy real estate abroad is no more difficult than to buy real estate in Estonia, but there are still some differences. The main difference is that the collateral for the loan agreement in Estonia is not the real estate being bought abroad, but the real estate in Estonia owned by the borrower. In Estonia, loans secured by real estate located abroad are generally not issued," Pärgma explained in a press release.
