Losses Aldi incurred in result of flood
The company mentions in its report about flood, which has occurred in the southern region of our country in September 2024.
– The cataclysm, which hit in the parts of our country caused destruction in three locations of sales points:Jelenia Góra, Nysa and Prudnik. (…)The Company is not able to estimate the value of the loss, because there are surveys and valuations of destroyed parts of the building and equipment. For this moment we can
say, that the facility that has suffered most is the real estate in Jelenia Gora. Preliminarily it can be estimated, that all the value of the goods in the shops will be written in losses and the equipment – movable assets will be eliminated. If it comes to buildings and parking those will be repaired. Properties, which have suffered in the flood were insured and are now in discussions with the insurer on the subject of the eventual amount of compensation – the company said.
