
The internet shop Zooplus sent a warning to its customers about products of the brand Barkoo, which may cause neurological problems in dogs. Although laboratory studies have not demonstrated the presence of harmful substances, the company in concern for the safety of animals recommends stopping the administration of these treats.
“The wolf syndrome” – what is it ?
“The werewolf syndrome” is the term used to describe a series of neurological symptoms, which have been observed in dogs after consuming specified products to chew. The disease is presented by anxiety, awakening and intense exhaustion resembling villain sounds. Symptoms have also been reported of panic attacks, barking and seizures of epileptic seizures. related to bone brand Barkoo, which has been linked to 47 cases reported to vets.

Response of Internet shop Zooplus
Store Internet Zooplus had in its offer products of Barkoobrands. In considering the potential threat the company has taken warning actions.
In the special statement the store reported, that laboratory tests did not demonstrate the presence of harmful substances in Barkoo products. Notwithstanding this, in the trouble of safety, the company is asking customers to stop serving the bone and recycle their substances.
