Prices of piglets in Denmark without correction
Once again, the Danish piglet exchange has not seen a drop in prices. This is the third week of price stabilization.
PRRS negative piglets have once again been priced at DKK 525.00/piece, while PRRS positive piglets have once again been priced at DKK 495.00/piece. The rates apply to piglets weighing 30 kg.
Compared to the same period last year (week 36), the current prices for weaners are lower by 100-110 DKK/piece, depending on health status. Compared to last week, the current prices have not changed.

Current rates for Danish piglets (29.08.2024)
- The rate for PRRS negative piglets is DKK 525.00/unit, i.e. PLN 301.72/unit, compared to PLN 301.46/unit last week.
- The rate for PRRS positive piglets is DKK 495.00/unit, i.e. PLN 284.48/unit, compared to PLN 284.23/unit last week.
- The rate for conventional piglets is DKK 470.00/unit, i.e. PLN 270.11/unit, compared to PLN 269.87/unit last week.
1 DKK = 0.5747 PLN (according to the National Bank of Poland as of 29.08.2024)
The rates shown will be valid in Denmark for the next week.
Please note that the given rates include a bonus for the producer of weaners and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
