Average purchase price for milk in December last year increased by 12.5% in year-on-year comparison, reaching 480.22
euros per ton.
Compared with November the price increased by three percent, according to data from the Department of Statistics.
In natural weight Estonian agricultural producers sold 73 300 tonnes of milk last month, which is 600 tonnes more than the year ear earlier. Of this volume of higher grade milk was 63 100 tonnes,whichis500tonnesmorethaninNovemberofthelastyear.
