Fish factory “Za Rodina” reported the absence of botulotoxin in canned goods by results of Research Rospotrebnadzor.

Laboratory studies were organized in connection with reports in December 2024 year. about two cases of botulism in the Sverdlovsk region after the abuse of fish canned from an unknown individual trading from a truck. To conduct expertise from trade networks and archive of the manufacturer were taken samples of the batch of products “Sprats in oil from Baltic kilk carcass” in glass jar, made on 13 September 2024 year.
“We immediately took under strict control of the situation with botulism in products apparently of our production and provided the accredited Rospotrebnadzor laboratory with all required requirements for the safety of the products.samples and samples. Only in during 2024 year were 150 laboratory examinations of our products, which didn’t reveal any abnormalities and much less the presence of botulotoxin. Now our primary task – together with supervisory and law enforcement bodies to clarify all circumstances of the incident and ensure maximum protection of our consumers from unscrupulous sellers and, possibly, falsified”, – noted Sergey Lutarevich Chairman of the Council of the Directors of the Group of Companies “For Motherland” Sergey Lutarevich.
