Spa customer complains to Department of Consumer Protection after seeing customer with skin rash

Клиент спа пожаловался в Департамент защиты прав потребителей, увидев посетителя с кожными высыпаниями

After visiting a spa and sauna centre in Mustamäe, a customer contacted the Consumer Protection and Technical Supervision Authority (TTJA) after deciding that one of the visitors suffered from a skin disease. The complaint was not satisfied, writes Delfi Ärileht. At the end of March, the customer visited the Elamus SPA spa and sauna centre in Mustamäe with his child. At the same time, a man with a bright red rash on his body was in the spa centre. As the customer wrote in his statement to the Consumer Protection Authority (TTJA), he was shocked by the fact that the man first went to the public sauna and then to the pool. According to the spa and sauna centre, the man suffers from psoriasis, a disease that is not contagious. "We left the spa with our son not because we were happy with the visit and enjoyed it, but because we were worried about our health. The fact that a regular visitor to the spa centre has psoriasis does not guarantee that he does not have HIV. "How can you allow a person to swim in a pool if he has open wounds on his body? This is disturbing," the visitor said in his statement to the TTJA, insisting on a refund of 64 euros for his tickets.
