The Polish Soja Association has provided the latest ARiMR data on soybean sowing in Poland. Compared to other species, e.g. corn, where we had over 1.8 million hectares, these may not be impressive, but they are still record-breaking in our country. The increase is really significant.

How much soy do we grow in Poland?
It turns out that in 2024 the area was estimated at 79.8 thousand. ha. Importantly, this is almost twice as much as last year, when the soybean cultivation area in Poland in 2023 amounted to 44.4 thousand. ha.
It is worth recalling here that in 2020 this area was approximately 21.5 thousand. ha, in 2021 – 25.5 thousand ha, and in 2022 – 47.9 thousand. ha.

Where are the most soybeans grown?
The data provided by SPS based on ARiMR shows that this year, of course, the voivodeships of southern Poland are in the lead. The top three are:
- Podkarpackie – 16.5 thousand ha,
- Lubelskie – 14.2 thousand ha,
- Małopolskie – 13.9 thousand ha.
