In 2024, sales of jewelry with delivery throughout Russia increased by 30% compared to last year, which indicates the growing popularity of online shopping.

According to Sokolov, in 2024, Russians began to order jewelry more often in the morning (from 6:00 to 12:00), an increase of 12% compared to last year. At the same time, Perm and Rostov residents (55% each) prefer daytime shopping (from 12:00 to 18:00). Also at this time, residents of Chelyabinsk, Omsk and Yekaterinburg are more likely to make online jewelry purchases (49% each). In the evening (from 18:00 to 24:00) residents of St. Petersburg (26%), Kazan and Volgograd (25% each) prefer to make purchases.

Russians began not only to order jewelry online more often, but also to spend more on it. The average bill for products purchased with delivery to Sokolov increased by 13% and amounted to 7,310 rubles. The most noticeable growth was recorded in Voronezh, where it increased by 36% and reached 7,771 rubles. Krasnoyarsk (26%) is in second place, Omsk is in third (21%).

The most expensive piece of jewelry, ordered for delivery in 2024, cost 188,998 rubles and was purchased in Moscow. These were gold earrings with sapphires. Second place went to jewelry from St. Petersburg worth 175,996 rubles – gold earrings with a diamond. In third place is a product from Omsk – a gold bracelet for 98,056 rubles.

Moscow continues to lead in the number of online purchases of jewelry with delivery, accounting for 64% of total sales. However, there is an active increase in sales with delivery in the regions. Thus, Kazan showed the strongest increase compared to last year – +40%. It is followed by Ufa (+32%), Volgograd (+25%), Chelyabinsk (+21%) and Novosibirsk (+20%).
