US entrepreneur Elon Musk has accused Unilever and Mars, private healthcare company CVS Health, renewable energy company Orsted, and a trade association called the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) of illegally agreeing to "boycott" Site X, in violation of US competition laws .
Analysts at the X* network say "billions of dollars" in advertising revenue have been lost due to the boycott, as some companies have avoided advertising on the platform since Musk bought it in 2022. X* CEO Linda Yaccarino also stressed that such a boycott threatens the future of the company. Musk confirmed the filing of the lawsuit and emphasized that a “legal war” has been declared on all brands that participate in the organized group boycott of the social network.
