So far, analysts' expectations have changed little (traders.lt)

Kol kas analitikų lūkesčiai mažai pasikeitė (traders.lt)

We're in full swing of Q2 banking and corporate earnings season, so let's take a look at what analysts are expecting.

The second quarter of 2024 was supposed to be the quarter when the financial results of companies outside the top ten should have improved significantly.

However, it turns out that when it comes to forecasts and analysts' revisions during the quarter, the trend was similar to previous quarters.

Earnings expectations for the top ten Wall Street companies rose, while per-share earnings forecasts for the remaining 490 companies in the S&P 500 index fell slightly.

The magnitude of the difference in these expectations, also seen in the results, is of course striking in favor of the global technology giants.
