The American JPMorgan bank JPMorgan is stuck with 2 billion dollars from Russia after the US government froze some bank transfers. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on Sunday, 2 February, with reference to sources familiar with the situation.This money was intended to pay for the construction of the first nuclear power plant
in Turkey Akkuyu, which is being constructed under the Rosatom project. According to American authorities, Russia and Turkey have agreed that Gazprombank will provide a loan of about 9 billion dollars for the construction of the NPPP. The money from the
accounts could be delivered to Russian companies, which have accounts with the Turkish Bank Ziraat, the publication confirmed. At the time the agreement was signed the Russian bank was not under US sanctions .
