The auction enjoyed considerable interest from both sellers and buyers. 8 lots of animals were offered, totaling 1,285 fattened pigs. This was the highest supply of pigs since the beginning of July. 6 lots totaling 965 animals were sold. During the quotation, the price range considered was 2.06 to 2.08 euros per kilogram.
Converted to the national currency (according to the euro exchange rate from today: 1 EUR = 4.33 PLN), the bid is 8.96 PLN/kg. Let us recall: Wednesday's session of the VEZG exchange ended with a result of 2.00 euros per kilogram of fattened pig with a meat content of 57%. Over the course of a week, the price fell by 10 eurocents, reaching the lowest level since mid-January.
