The last time Euribor was below this level was on April 11, 2023 – 3.356%.
At its peak in 2023, in mid-October, the interest rate exceeded 4.1%. The highest Euribor rate in history was recorded in the winter of 2008 – almost 5.5%. Before the previous economic crisis, the usual Euribor level was between 2% and 5%.
According to the latest forecasts from Estonian economic analysts, the Euribor rate will fall to 3.2-3.25% by the end of this year.
