The six-month European Interbank Offered Rate (Euribor), to which most home loans in Estonia are tied, fell to 3.307% on September 9, writes rus.err.ee. The last time Euribor was below this level was on March 29, 2023, at 3.29%. At its peak in 2023, in mid-October, the interest rate exceeded 4.1%. The highest Euribor rate in history was recorded in the winter of 2008, at almost 5.5%. Before the previous economic crisis, the usual Euribor level was between 2% and 5%. Read more HERE.
