Six-month European interbank rate offer (Euribor), to which the majority of housing loans in Estonia, February 3 dropped to
2.536%, wrote Rus.ERR.
This is the lowest indicator since 15 December 2022 year.
At its peak in mid October 2023 of the level interest rate was over 4%. The highest value of the Euribor rate in history was recorded in the winter of 2008 year – almost 5.5%.
The six-month Euribor has a large impact on Estonian residents,asthemajorityofhousingloansissuedinthecountry.
