Sephora is set to open its sixth UK store in the Bullring & Grand Central shopping centre in Birmingham’s city centre this winter.
Customers will be able to shop from a selection of brands across makeup, travel, fragrance, skincare, haircare, grooming and wellness, including exclusive to Sephora UK brands such as Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga and Topicals.
The new store is the latest addition to the retailer’s growing portfolio, following a launch in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, the announcement of two new stores in Newcastle’s Metrocentre and Eldon Square and its two existing stores in Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.
Sephora relaunched in the UK in 2022, having previously exited the market in 2005 after opening six UK stores in five years.

Sephora UK managing director Sarah Boyd said: “We’ve once again harnessed the power of listening to our customers to shape our expansion plans around the UK, and the appetite that our beauty community in Birmingham had was profoundly powerful.
“The demand we have seen on social media and customer enquiries, particularly on the back of the Manchester opening and Newcastle announcements has been phenomenal, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming Birmingham customers in the iconic Bullring location in Winter 2024.”
Earlier this month the retailer also launched its loyalty programme, MySephora, in the UK market.
Harry Badham, chief development and asset repositioning officer at Hammerson, added: “Sephora was our customers’ most wanted brand and the new store unlocks a significant investment from another high profile occupier with an international following.
“This is an exciting time for Bullring and demonstrates the demand we have for prime locations and the agility with which we are repositioning our offer.”
